ALPAO becomes Bertin alpao following its acquisition by the Bertin Technologies group
All Alpao team is excited to announced that, starting from July 11, 2024, Alpao has become part of the french group Bertin Technologies and change its name into Bertin Alpao!
Bertin Technologies, already recognized for its expertise in measurement, observation and detection systems for critical applications, is consolidating its position in the photonics market with the acquisition of Alpao
Bertin Alpao is pleased to join the other international business units of the group: Bertin Instruments, Bertin Environics, Bertin Exensor, Bertin Health & Life Sciences, and Bertin Winlight.
Bruno Vallayer, President of the Bertin Group commented : “With the acquisition of ALPAO, we are adding a very attractive activity to our photonics offering, in particular by strengthening our expertise in the astronomy and space sectors.
This new business units will still remain located in Montbonnot Saint-Martin, France.
The products developed by ALPAO are already referenced by numerous customers. This will enable us to accelerate our development and become a European leader in photonics for scientific or critical applications. We are delighted to welcome the entire ALPAO team and partners to the Bertin Technologies Group, and we are convinced that their technological and human integration will be very rapid”.
